To launch our pride week, on Monday 16th June we will be hosting an informal social evening at Al.Gonquin's Cottage Grill in Newmarket.

As with all our events, we extend an invitation to all families and friends, not only within the LGBTQ2 community but also the community at large. This event is open to people of all age groups.

Al Gonquin's has been a popular home of great food and fun people ever since it opened ten years ago. In recent years it has also been a favourite venue for regular social events organized by GLAYR (Gay And Lesbian Association Of York Region).

This Newmarket bar and restaurant offers excellent service and a friendly atmosphere. It is located on the southwest corner of Yonge St and Davis Drive, just across the street from Upper Canada Mall. Look for the big canoe sign! There's plenty of parking, accessible eastbound on Davis Drive just before Yonge St., and northbound or southbound from Yonge St. near the Chapters store. It's also within easy walking distance from Newmarket bus terminal.
